Minnetonka, Minn. – The Minnesota Private Business Council today announced its organizational leadership and membership growth.

Since announcing its formation on May 23, 2023, MPBC has received over $600,000 in membership dues from dozens of Minnesota’s most well-respected privately held businesses. These businesses include Rosen’s Diversified Inc., Cambria, RTP Company, A. H. Hermel Co, and Wyncrest Capital.

Tom Rosen, President and Chief Executive Officer of Rosen’s Diversified Inc., and Todd Paulson, Chief Financial Officer of RTP Company, will serve as Co-Chairs of the Board of MPBC.

“MPBC’s mission is critical for Minnesota’s future, and Todd and I are proud to serve as co-chairs of this new organization,” said Rosen. “Minnesota’s businesses and their workers are being hurt by our state’s economic climate, and we will fight for policies that allow our businesses to grow and create well-paying jobs,” he added.

The excitement from so many Minnesota businesses over just a few weeks demonstrates that Minnesota’s private sector recognizes the gravity of Minnesota’s situation and the need for MPBC’s unique voice,” added Paulson.

Jim Schultz will serve as President/CEO-Executive Director of MPBC. “These early achievements are just the beginning and I am honored to help lead this historic initiative for the state of Minnesota,” Schultz said. “As Minnesota enters the third decade of the 21st Century, the state faces distinct challenges: limited economic growth and innovation, a shrinking labor force, elevated rates of violent crime, and unaccountable government increasingly animated by the far left. We will deliver a new vision and fight for policies that will create a better life for every Minnesotan,” he added.
